Maël Pégny  works on the philosophical foundations of logic and computer science, and the consequences of computing technology on science and society as a whole. He initially studied  the definition of computation and its complexity, and its relation with mathematics and physics. His recent work is increasingly centered on recent evolutions of AI, and the fundamental issues they raise from both epistemological and political perspectives.
