Eva Thelisson is the CEO and Co-Founder of the AI Transparency Institute. She is a Lawyer and Economist with more than 15 years experience in international projects, last as Data Protection Officer at EPFL and Member of the Ethics Committee. She worked previously as Team Head at the Swiss Confederation in Bern.
Her scientific interests are at the cross-road between Innovation, the convergence of NBIC, Ethics, Economy and the Rule of Law. She is registered as Ethics Expert at the EU Commission. She holds a Master’s Degree in International Business Law and Management from ESSEC Business School (french “Grande Ecole”) and defended her Ph.D on the General Data Protection Regulation and its impact in Switzerland in May 2018.
